Thanks to Bob, here is a pic of another Rommel visor being utilized by the costume designer for the "Desert Fox".
This one has the shape of his DAK visor, but is missing the chincords:

Rommel's "Normandy" visor appears to have had a variant bullion wreath that is slightly wider than normal--almost like those worn by OT Generals:

This SS Officer was the trendsetter for Rommel--he is wearing captured Brit anti-gas goggles during the French campaign:
