SA Cap?

Hello Gents,

I need some help on this cap. It should be a "SA mann overseas" cap. First of all i am not sure about the "overseas" part. Also is it a SA cap at all? It should be a 1934 model.

Hi Lars-
This is a nice example of the first pattern SA lagermutze. he second patern cap replaced the metal eagle wih a bevo eagle The old button and dark brown Gruppe color indicatehis cap came from upe Niedersachsen. I am attaching an image of the 2nd pattern cap.

Thank you Bob. I wonder why it's described as "overseas". I mean, as far as i know SA did not go overseas....

Overseas cap is the American term for this type of sidecap/headgear...

Many collectors are lazy and use improper terminology to describe items.
