SA Truppenfarbe Question

I don't have my references at hand, and I am drawing a blank on this.

This Kepi (it is real) is listed as being for a Staff Member of a Gruppe. It is listed as being bright red.
I cannot recall any SA staff elements that wore the ponceaurot instead of carmine.

Anyone else know of the same?

The Gruppe staff all wore hochrot as displayed in the kepi. Carmaine was worn by members of the OSAF(SA High Command)and Feldherrnhalle. I can not tell from the limited images if this is a genuine or 4th Reich kepi. It looks pretty good from these images.

I must agree with you. The seller did not provide a good interior image. Possibly, he was attempting to disguise a blatant feature that would indicate it is a fake,

Is there an old thread to where we can bring it back up to the front page to show the different colors of the kepi top which shows SA gruppe designation? This would be a great reference for the SA collector.
