Finally, somewhere along the way I picked up these two. A nice Officer's version made of a nice gaberdine type material with silver braid and a standard enlisted cap with some moth nips. both on the very economical side.

Impressive collection of Luftwaffe headgear Al. I like the way you follow a theme in collecting. That way you get depth in the collection and gain great insight in that corner of the hobby, something that's harder to achieve if you collect everything.

Thank you Anderson. Sometimes it happens quite by accident as it did with my stickpin collection. One day I decided to gather up all my stickpins scattered throughout my collection and realized I had amassed an impressive amount. The same as happened with my Luftwaffe caps that I'm drawn to over and over again. I'm currently focusing on my Totenkopf's, Luftwaffe & Polizei caps and of course my Spanish collection. So much militaria, so little time and money. Thanks for looking.
