Looks like a nice period ErEl to me. I am no specialist for insignia - but this police eagle looks quite shiny for its age. Any pictures from underneath the sweatband?

Thank you. No additional pics. My concern is what appears to be the reed that is showing at the back interior, I thought this was indicative of repro caps??

Janke uses a similar system, indeed - the sweatband, however, i. e. the zig-zag stich which which it is fixed to the base with the reed inside is different, see here:

Good Erel Schupo--rare to find (note LW-type visor).

Erwesa, the eagle is bare aluminum--these are unfinished, so they show minimal aging.
