I think you mean Kulmbach, which is in Franconia, and a very nice place. This image is a highly useful one. Notice the smile on the faces of the kids, who probably were happy now to have jazz on the radio and no more silly marches.

Sorry to be a scold, but I passed through there in March on the way from Leipzig to Nuremberg, and it is a beautiful place in the Franconian forest.
