Personally.. I don't care for the embroidered patches.. JMO of course
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Insanely clean at any rate, if it is genuine.
Let me say that I like the trikotage of this cap, actually. I do not collect these at all. The Beaver Shea picture book has many examples of this kind of cap.
Ask Shea yourself, as he specializes in these field caps.
Many were found in the Tschechei, and other ex socialist film paradise depots.
Bob Coleman or Adrian Stevenson would also know, I think.
I think the woven badges are also alright, as a matter of fact.
The trikotage is similar to that of the peaked cap.

Thanks. I was waiting for you to say something. The textile is distinct in color and quality.
Whammond had had one of these for awhile, I include a somewhat different one out of gabardine.
In any case, bravo.
A rare and pleasing item.
Often the badges are stripped from the Bosnian caps and reused in a case like this. You have to examine the thing closely in hand.
If the badges are re applied, I do not find such a thing especially awful. I am used to a lot of authentic, denazified caps.

I am a fan too, I like it very much !

I must concur with all of the previous positive statements from my colleagues. The cap appears to have been kept in a time capsule for the past 70 years.
