Re: Strange German WW2 Field Cap ?
Not a German WW2 field cap, but otherwise, no idea...

Re: Strange German WW2 Field Cap ?
I did not think that it was an issued cap as I could not find any info on the net about it but I am still very curious about its origin as it is a sharp looking cap.

Re: Strange German WW2 Field Cap ?
looks like a US cap, cold weather,...I've seen them in green and tan and different linings,..I've owned a few....
COLD WEATHER CAP PRE-WWII ISSUE 1935 DATED MINT WITH TAGS: Absolutely MINT unissued condition this cold winter issue cap comes with several original cutter tags and the MINT factory label inside. NO damage or stains and the staples are rust free with no damage to the attached material. A excellent size 7 1/8 and a great Early piece.
WWII CIVILIAN CONTRACT WINTER SHIPYARD WORKERS CAP MINT: Very rare cap size 6 7/8 in size and in MINT condition. this cap has a QMC (Army) contract tag but with the "CIV" in the code for Civilian use. These are great for any home-front or workers collection. Used in plane production lines, Ships, and forestry service just to name a few. Excellent Forest green color.
