I would like to get some information about 'triumph' if possible. It somehow makes me think about erel .. probably cause of the berlin bear..
thanks

haha just figured out 'triumph' was a distributor mark of august schellenberg products
Triumph is technically the class designation--they also used "Ideal" and several others.
Note that the Berlin bear is holding the initials A and S in his paws for August Schellenberg.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
this will be my first schellenberg, believe it is 100% Original, from wreath to eagle?. could you use your knowledge to put a year on it?
Nice original cap , welcome to the Forum hope you enjoy your time here .
thanks chris, sure I will
anyone able to tell me when this cap was made ?
don't know anything about the logo evolution of schellenberg. I do know it is sometimes possible to put a year on it, erel for example had several varieties which can be linked to a period... It would be great if anyone could determine when mine was made
In MHO this is a pre-war or early war Schellenberg due to the workmanship, leather sweatband etc. like this one: Schellenberg Infantry Officer visor cap
As to the development of Schellenbergs see here (Post # 10):
Infantry Schirmutze (Visor Cap)
or here (post # 17): https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/cloth...etze-261042-2/
Compare here for late war ones:
Late War Schellenberg Artillery visor cap original or repro?
