Angels is a great place to look around although they dont do tours as such, I went there for a costume fit for a film, you cannot even imagine how many period looking costumes they have in racks, and of course I had to sneak a peek at all the German costumes, WW! and WW2, I was like a kid in a candy shop, another place i got to see was Bapty,s, they supply all the weapons for films, even had spears and shields from Zulu, but in a sort of wooden cage there were approx 100 german helmets of all types, these,as far as i could see were real, even examined a couple including an FJ M38, which was ET marked, they let these go out on certain films or programmes, some have been "missing" in action before now

The camp commandant from " The Great Escape." Apparently, his transfer from the W-SS to the Luftwaffe did not work out so well.

Messemer was in several films in the 1950s and 1960s. Such are less well known in the USA.
