I just dont like the embroidery and the freshness its really buggn me but I know Im a cherry so let me in on why everyones likn it?
Hi Justin, this particular pattern of Einheitsfeldmutze was found at the SS clothing storage depot at Dachau Camp in 1945 by US troops. Many US servicemen who were at the camp liberated them as souvenirs. So these caps have a direct known link to the past. They are a late war cap and are very distinctive in the insignia and the way the cap was made. Note the cardboard reinforcement under the visor which does not have a cloth covering. This is a particular trait of these caps. The cloth used is also quite distinctive and is fairly lightweight. I hope that explains it for you? It is a great cap!
Cheers, Ade.
once again Mr Stevenson thank you!
im sure you could understand my hesitation. Im still learning but I have a problem on speaking out loud
Its just so fresh! (Its good to see examples that are so new in form...very exciting)
Hi Justin, asking questions is good. That is how we all learn.
Cheers, Ade.
