Hate to spoil the parade but I would send the Luft M43 cap back.

    Ben,
I certainly value your opinion, anything in particular that sends up a red flag? It passed muster on WAF and GHW.

Well, hard to explain, gut feeling mostly.

I understand completely, unfortunately I am not at the gut feeling level so I need to rely on the esteemed opinion of others more knowledgeable than I. With this particular cap Lenny W from WAF and GHW gave it glowing recommendations, even being familiar with the maker, the way he stamped the RBNr etc. Lenny is the M43 guru there so I trust his judgement. That being said I will certainly have Lenny take another look. One poster seemed to recall that this particular maker had access to confiscated Italian wool for making his caps.

Thx Stoney, don't think the wife would look at it that way though lol. The tunic was also part of my spree, you should have seen the look on her face when she saw that hanging. Just stood there shaking her head. The stuff in the cabinets she doesn't really pay any attention to but the feldbluse she couldn't miss. Everything is a fairly large size also except the arty visor.
The artillery is a Peter Rossberger, '37 dated, is that a brand name for Pekuro?
    Cory--
Rossberger is most likely the distributor for Pekuro. Can you post a pic of the logo, thanks.

Had 2 of those at one point, 1 was wired upstairs, the other downstairs. I would ring the kids when I needed them to come to dinner....

Certainly, Bad pic though, the logo mostly worn out, have to turn it a certain way to catch it in the light. Looks like :
    Peter Rossberger
    Civil & Uniformen
    Militare effeften
    Kempten Ullg ????

I have to agree with the statement on the 43 cap the insignia does not look good to me, and one thing tends to lead to another. Rather inexpensive cap to pick up better off to get one that you have no doubts on just my opinion
