Sudetendeutsche Partei (SdP), soon absorbed by the NSDAP after the annexation of the Sudetenland. The man is Konrad Henlein.
Thank you so much for the information on this. I had no idea. Much appreciated!
I know this thread is already more than a year old, but I would like to make a correction to my original reply:
As I said, the man is Konrad Henlein of the SdP, but the uniform is not that of the overall SdP as such, but spefically for the Sudetendeutsches Freikorps.
The uniform ordered for this group was:
- Black peaked cap with white piping, white metal swastika badge and black-red-black badge on the cap band.
- Grey tunic in SS/SA cut
- Black pants and boots
- Grey or brown shirt with black tie
- Black belt and cross-strap, pistol holster or ammunition pouches
- Grey wind jacket
- Swastika armband (to be removed in the field)
