Default What type (branch) schirmutze is this?

I came across this visor and am looking to purchase it. I'm not 100% sure what branch the emblem belongs to (Freikorps perhaps), and what the piping color implies. This would be simpler if my reference books weren't all packed away since I just moved

I'd like to get more information regarding this visor, as well as everyone's thoughts on whether or not its authentic. Despite the crushed look due to prolonged storage, and the loose wreath, it appears to be in great shape overall, and is named as well!

    Thanks!

Ade, no disrespect intended, but it is for the Soldatenbund, but you are 1/2 right--the Soldatenbund was absorbed (along with the Kyffhauserbund) into the Reichskriegerbund in 1939.

Hat is a nice one, made by Pekuro.....

Do you guys thinks $300 for this cap is a good deal, or am I overspending? I can't find any comparables to tell me how much I should spend on this.
