What type (branch) schirmutze is this?

Article about: I came across this visor and am looking to purchase it. I'm not 100% sure what branch the emblem belongs to (Freikorps perhaps), and what the piping color implies. This would be simpler if m

    It looks to be in pretty good shape. A proper display head would help with the shape. $300 is probably on target for a dealer sale but I would think a slightly lower figure would be fair. Ruptured Duck has a clean example priced at $335.00. Maybe $225 to $250 for the example you have? NH
