"It's not whether you get knocked down...It's whether you get up"
My Collection: www.tothehiltmilitaria.com
I was looking through some old threads and had a look to see if there was any information available. It turns out that Anton was from quite a large family and is one of four sons that fell during the war.
Here is the casualty card of Anton.
His cause of death is noted as - Schwer verwundet: Infanterie geschuß Hüfte (heavily wounded: Infanterie shot hip).
Kind regards,
Will.

Great Grouping and amazing research.
thsnk you so much that is amazing information i never knew about. can i ask where do you find the casualty cards please.
No worries and thank you for posting the group.
You can find the casualty cards on Fold3 and Ancestry (you need an account). The records are incomplete and become patchy after mid 1944. I couldn't find casualty cards for Josef or Lorenz, but this could be because they are classed as missing.
Kind regards,
Will.
