Hi MAP Thank you for your comments and for the invisible "Like". Cheers Michael R
PS Have you seen or responded to the thread regarding the "Like" option?
Yup. Voted early and often and had many hearty laughs on the original thread about the likes
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

I collect mainly Imperial era iron crosses so anything
Ek related catches my eye. Some of these fall into the
    ephemera slot.

first up is a art deco style wood box I would guess to be
from the early part of ww2.

    Chopperman,
Can you tell us a little about the box, how you acquired it and other things you may know about it.......great looking box, I'd like to have it as well. Beautiful.

Not much to tell. I bought it from a fellow forum member
who really didn't know much about it either.
It is about 7 inches by 10 inches and 3 1/2 inches tall.
The iron cross is a one piece patriotic item marked DRGM
with a screw back style attachment.

No way to know what it originally intended for but now it's
a good place to store some of my misc collection crap.

Next up is a neat brass wall plaque. It is roughly 8 inches square
and is made of wood with a thin brass sheet covering it.
Purchased off ebay many years ago.

    Chopperman ,
appears to be a copper hammering, where someone took an EK and then hammered the outline onto the copper sheet. I like it. This is turning out to be quite a D&P show.

It's much bigger than an Ek.

Two more pieces from me. Both are Iron cross related
    but are not crosses.

These are Liebig collectors cards. One from a series
printed in 1905 shows the awarding of Louise Order and
the 1871 maiden's cross. The other is from a series printed
in 1898 that shows the awarding of the 1813 Iron cross. I
picked these up to display with my originals of these crosses.
