hi Fastfeet, Thank you for your comments although you have lost me on post 399? The emblems on the flag are the Italian royal Arms with the Facist symbol in each canton.
Cheers MR

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Neat flags. I have no idea if the Luft flag is original or not
but it's a great looking piece.
I'm not a flag guy really but my old neighbor says he has an
SS car pennant that he brought back from the war. He told
me it's mine when he can find it.
Back to miniatures and iron crosses.
Here is a mini 1870 Iron cross that I cam across.
These can be found on ebay and some dealer sites being
sold as original miniatures.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
As it turns out, these were novelties made in the 50s.
Some were sold in stores while others were packaged
in cereal boxes as a prize.
Here is another one I have that is still in it's original
packaging. It was made by the Lowell Toy Corp of NY.
an was part of a series of toy awards that could be
collected.

I do have a few original iron cross minis to
compare against----
I've posted these before on another thread so if
if need be, I have no problem with a mod removing
this picture.

Hi Chopperman, Thank you once again for supporting this thread. It is nice to know that people are reading the thread but even better when people support it with "Shows" so thanks again for both!!! I agree with MAP, both an understatement and nice!!!!!

PS, As an aside, I also like the "Famous Military Medals". They are a tangent to collecting original medals and were not made to cheet people.
Still looking at flags, the following items may be of some interest I hope.
The Imperial flag is two part and made from a fine silk materiel. The plastic covering has clouded on one side and been removed from the other. Its use is not known. I purchased it in a junk shop in Germany a long time ago.
The shield appears to be a 3rd prize for a 10K meter rout march and may be Reichmarine?
