The Beginnings of My Collection

Finally managed to get pictures of all my bits and pieces and finally brave enough to post them up to Havent got much so far but slowly getting more pieces and you have to start some where with out noticing really ive kind of gone down the route of collectiong cap badges and side caps Got some more bits already in the post to add to the collection and will add them in here once i have them, still being cautionous with my buys and only bought one thing over a fiver so far which was 3 of the caps









Anyone know what the cap with the swords badge on is?? its the only cap i dont know what it is







Finally the bits that caused me to start collecting, my grandads gasmask and dog tags and the first piece i bought a gas mask bag



Thanks for looking and any information on any of my pieces is greatly appreciated and hopefully my collection will only get bigger along with my knowledge due to this amazing site

The cap you mention is a US garrison cap with West German Bundeswehr visor hat insignia...

I dont think he ever got any medals but finding out his service info could be interesting thanks for the idea got to question him next time i see him now
