Article about: G'day All, Figured to start this one, in my opinion it is one of the best ever camo patterns devised! S95, 85 & 68 patt (worse for wear correct me if I'm wrong) displayed

    Got the '58 kit, took a bit to figure it out as I've never handled it before bit trickier than the US '56

    I think I have the '58 set up right? sorry not DPM camouflage I know I didn't slide the c hooks into the belt sleeves!

    Its an entrenching tool, not a shovel lol. I have two sets of these with ponchos, entrenching tools and respirator and water bottle which is also missing.

    I did, but as far as I know the main differences are on the yolk for the pack & the kidney pouches had stiffeners on the lids.

    Most infantry grunts swapped out the kidney pouches for water bottle pouches as it was a hell of a lot more comfortable, as for that large pack it was placed into the nearest skip and a private purchase bergan was used.
