Article about: The luft is a german post war made knife made out of real luft parts. The factories kept on making them and sold them. My great grandfather bought this for 50 dollars german.

    Very nice collection of military cutlery, and other cool stuff too !

    I like the DFC and box, the US Navy/Marine Corps fighting knives,
    and the British bayonets.........

    nice colection you have it good to know young men are collecting as well as us older one,s,
    You are lucky to have such nice items given to you i hope you get many more over the years. Well done. And i also have my old can openers from the army, as the British army still use them.

    Perhaps you would like to elaborate on your observations for our younger member , As you say he has to live and learn so he might as well start now

    Good idea , I wont do it here though , I will start up a thread in the Aviation section, when time permits , on cloth badges , its really hard to teach someone straight away with anything to do with it , as so many variations and country of origin etc.

    How do you know they are fake? I actually have bought A LOT more items, including 20 books. It isn't a big deal, because one thing won't hurt. I'll post a picture of my recent collection.
