I just want to show you my small German collection in the living room.
...okay, there are some US stuff as well.

I still need to mount more metal grid in the back of the display.
...that way, I get more options on how to arrange my display.

I might ad, that the Walther M34 Zink flare gun usually not is in this display - it is only for these pictures.
...the flare gun is stored in my weapons locker.

The other weapons in this display are ground dug relics and deactivated.

Yes, its an mp40.
...ground dug relic - found in Germany some years ago.

The mp was in very bad shape back then - I have stabilized it.
...it was a long process.

The pistol grip was brocken of.
The rest of the mp was nearly brocken in two pieces, it was very fragile in the area of bolt/mag.

I have welded the mg together again, and used filler to make it look okay afterwards.
...and then paint.

It was important not to make it look to perfect.

I have pictures of the process some where.

This is how it looks now.
