just thought i'd post my small hand gun collection of german WAa marked hand guns. my favorite has to me the top left luger. maker marked 42 dated 1939 all matching with both matching clips. one still has most of the laquer on it. the gun looks bearly used. it also has the capture papers numberd to the gun. i got this from the vet who brought it back, and yes i know its a P.38 holster, but it is how he got it, and brought it back. the whole rig is in beautyfull condition
the other luger is a 1920's .30 cal not 9mm
    P.38's 2 byf 43's 1 ac 43
    walther PP and others

    Hi Andrew,
Thanks you for showing your pistols a very fine collection you have
It is a shame we cannot have our guns any more, the idiots made it bad for the good, and we all suffered for it. Now there are more guns than ever but illegal of coarse,. As said before we can have deac, but very costly, and replica,s can only be bought if you belong to a reenactment, theature or Museum. and you have to prove it. Sad state of affaires.

    thanks dave,
i will never understand the laws in the UK about deactivated weapons and non firing replicas. in my opinion, once it is fully deactvated and paperd as such. that should be the end of it. it's no different than a helmet at that point. it's not going to shoot any one.
i can only say i feel bad for my fellow collectors in the UK, and wish they had a bit more collector friendly laws.
