Here is an old photo from 2003. Since then I have bought many more tunics and we don't have a washing line any more. Ade needs to put me one back up.

But I thought you might like to see some of my WW2 ATS/FANY/MTC collection?

I will try and show each tunic in detail over time. I have featured some on the forum.

Hiya Nick, the blue one is an ATS Hospital Blue BD. These were worn by women who were in hospital for treatment. Worn with a white shirt and the bright red tie. I do have a tie. The men also wore hospital blues. This goes back to the Great War I think?

Hiya Paul, the blouse with the blue tab is the special one made for the MTC. The Mechanised Transport Corps. I have two of these now. It was funny, I had bought one for £65 which I thought was a good price. Then we were at a show about a year later and a friend of ours had one for sale in a "junk" pile. He said "if you pair are interested it has to be rare?" He wanted to know what it was? He had it in a pile of kit all priced the same. Ade said he would tell him only after we paid for it.

All in good fun and we got it for £5.
