These are quite nice. Drywall "snap hangers" hold up to 70 LBs. No need for any support to hold a 3 lb. helmet. Be nice to have one on each side of my desk, like sconces without the light !!
Thank you David!
That would be one type of wall anchor that would work. If you could screw them into a stud, there'd be no problem.
I thought you might like this.
You could always add the light?
Ralph.

I feel you pain. We had -18 F (-28c) this morning. It has not been above zero for a few days and may not
get above zero for a couple more.

Yeah...we are not used to it. Living in Michigan for a few years...was to be expected. But N.Y. & Jersey...was a freak to be that cold in December. Sad thing is, winter just began. Going to be a long one. So much for "Global Warming"

Ralph, that's f-ing cold. We don't usually see that kind of cold for
another month.
It's -21 right now and my wife says we need to go out for breakfast
and to go grocery shopping. I think the cold has numbed her senses

And that was in the city, it was likely about -40 out if the country.
The farthest I went yesterday was out to the garage, unfortunately, I need groceries today as well.

It's a balmy +10 degrees F (-12 C) today here in NYC. Shorts and tee shirt. Kids still not wearing jackets....not cool
