How to make medal stands DIY style

Article about: Hi guys. I've allways had a problem with medal stands that you can buy. They never make provision for ribbons. So I made my own. tell me what you think.....

    My compliments on this very creative idea. It is amazing how one can create superb-looking displays out of the most basic materials with a little imagination. Very good job.

    The frame with the belt buckle is really nice since it totally centers the attention on the buckle. It makes a person immediately look at the item in the frame if you know what I mean. You can even use a longer frame and maybe put 3 equally space items in there.

    Thanks Lt, in fact I wanted to put 9 buckels in it, but I could not wait to put some pictures on the forum...
    I am using old frames for thise purpose, I specialy like the "pass"-partout" (don't know the English word for it!!) on thise one.
    I buy them on car booth sales and flee market under 5€.
    I have got some very nice one's with ?? bombed?? ..curved?? glass!
    Like the one the right on thise picture.
