    IJA Private First Class display/representation.

I'm not really sure the hat is accurate for a private. Noticeable absence of any ammo pouches and I'm still on the hunt for a decent helmet (besides the shell this one is all repro).

    Cheers!

    Very nice indeed.

We don't see much Japanese kit here in the UK.

    Cheers, Ade.

Nice. Need a nice type 38, 44 or 99 rifle as well :-)

I would think the cap is OK but would think if you get a nice field cap it would fit better with the overall theme. Not too up to speed on if the visors were worn in the field, but would believe that the field cap looks more inline with historical pictures I have seen.

    Great job!!!

The visor cap was generally worn only for home service but can also be seen worn in China. This one looks like it might be an officers cap to me but I cant be sure from these pictures.

Its a really nice display. I am working on the same sort of display at the moment.

I thought you might be interested to see these displays in the Imperial War Museum (London and Duxford branches)
