    You have some nice items I had one similar to your first one but not quite had Japanese writing on canister everytime I see one I think of it bought it as a young kid collector for a while ten dollars quite a bit for one at the time the things one wishes he would have kept. timothy

    Indeed I have seen, mate! But your type 99 is not a type 99, it is a type 1 / Model A a civil gas mask.

    Yes. Correct as it only has the single top strap. The title was wrong as I found out the mistake after posting it and couldn't change it. Thanks!
