KIA group with EKII and IAB

Article about: I have been offered this group for £225. New collector of german awards so seems like a nice thing to start it up. Do you think it's a decent deal? Group of two Brothers. 1 was in Infanterie

    I have been offered this group for £225. New collector of german awards so seems like a nice thing to start it up. Do you think it's a decent deal?

    Group of two Brothers. 1 was in Infanterie Regiment 89 and was KIA 3 Sept 1941 east of Cholm.

    Family made a framed memorial to him which includes portrait,grave picture,EK2 and IAB (mm SH.U.CO 41).
    Also incluese is a letter from his kompaniefuhrer regarding award of EK2, and a death notice.


    Other brother was in Kavallerie Rgt 15 and according to a Deutsche Dienststelle letter server in Police Rgt 18 from 1942 until 45.
    Includes his Wehrpass with uniform photo, 3 letters Bundesarchiv about his service during war and a Lehr-Brief. (I am not sure what a Lehr-Brief is).

    ISA appears to be an original SHuCo '41 with a repaired/re-soldered hinge. Pics ain't the best though. Stewy

    Me too, the badge, cross and wehrpass are getting to around that price on their own.

    Oh yep, so there is. It was the Lehrbrief under the WP that was tricking me. That will teach me not to look properly at all the images!
