    I know. It is truly awesome. But the more I look closer there are actually many signs showing some wear albeit small. Note that in real life the white piping is more yellowed than on the photos and the black rayon that lines the cap is not so "sparkly" - this is due to the flash. I have really crappy photo equipment and skills...

    I bought it from Klaus at Butschek Antiques some time ago. He described it as being "as new" almost. I was glad to take it off his hands - one of the nicest caps he ever had for sale I guess.

    In fact when holding it in hand, feeling it, smelling it and looking closely at it its age becomes apparent. The cracking of the leather sweat band due to age is not so visible on these crappy photos. Inside the cap there are also marks caused by sweat - but just some. This has not been worn a lot. The sweat band testifies to that. The cap in my opinion actually shows more wear due to it having been moved around, rather than by being worn on the head.
