Article about: Thanks Ned, made by Steinhauer and Luck in five pieces with pegged centre EK and enamelled red ring...just as yours was made ! unfortunatly worth no where near yours ! Prost ! Steve.

    Here is my contribution to this thread. Not TR, but minty nonetheless. These where awarded to my Great-Grandfather who was a cook for a Canadian artillery regiment. Unfortunately these are the only medals of relatives that still survive as far as I know. Lets see your mintiest items!!

    Yes it is Glenn! One of the notorious small sizes too. It's a size 53.

    Mine is a 53 also (it looks like a comical item if I try to sit it on top of my head). Mine is a December 42 manufacture, is yours also?

    You're right, I have mine displayed on a helmet stand so it doesn't look so awkward! Mine is also a December 42 manufacture. I know they're fairly common, but it's still one of my favorite pieces!
