New addition. An untouched Infantry waffenrock for the rank of an Oberst.
That's the highest rank i have in my collection up to now. I am dreaming about a general's tunic one day

The aguillette and EKI came with the tunic. The EKI is a screwback type marked 800 and ''K''.

In the pocket there was a letter of a previous owner of the tunic who sent a letter to the Bundesarchiv in order to find out the name of the Oberst. Even though the name is written inside the pocket it's not very clear.

Above that there are some tiny holes which make me think that there was something else on this tunic. But what?
Remains of loops for a close combat clasp?

Given his rank, more likely a good sized ribbon bar.

    Cheers, Ade.
