Next comes an "Attilla" tunic. Meaning it's a Hussars (light Cavalry) tunic for a Deganfahnrich (officer candidate awaiting promotion within the Regt).
I also bought this tunic from Steve.
Unfortunately moths showed no respect to this piece of history
A tasty looking tunic.

I like these very old tunics. It is funny to think about it, but they used such clothes in battle. I wish i had a time machine (NO no no not just used it for looting) but to been able to see one of these big battles from a birds eyes view.
What fantastic sight it must have been.
