The buckle is as fake as the fake can be, probably ugliest I've ever seen.

I have to agree with this statement, it says it all for me.

Hi,
Love the bayonet you have a really good buy there, if thats cosmaline grease it will come off quite easy enen with hot water.
but that buckle is laughable, who ever made it needs glasses.
