Well to say its a collection is an understatement, i think its one of the finest collections of Luftwaffe uniforms and associated equipment that ive ever seen outside of a museum, possibly not even that, thanks for showing these, amazing, regards Dave
Thank you Dave,
This Group is again from KG55, It's a Pilots badge, Bomber clasp in bronze, Flugbuch, Pilots lience, Wartime signed photo, and some private photographs belonging to Knightscross winner Haupt. Werner Oberlander Stkpt. of 2nd Staffel KG55, His flugbuch shows 42 combat flights which includes the very sussesful attack on the BAC aircraft factory at Fulton near Bristol on the 25/9/1940,
After makeing his bomb run, his He111 was attacked by five RAF fighters, and sustained heavy machine gun fire, fortunatly nobody was wounded and they made it back to it's airfield at Villacoublay, and after examination of the Heinkel it was found to have no less than 152 bullet holes.
Werner Oberlander flew 263 combat missions until seriously wounded in mid 1943.
Werner Oberlander's Flugbuch showing the raid on Bristol on the 25/9/1940
And a page of his pilots licence.

Hello Jim!
This picture is not Hpt. Adalbert Karbe of 3/KG55, even if it resembles, sorry.
I have a picture but I don't know how to post it here... but you could send me an emailadress if interested....
The winter flight suit and stuff is probably what he weared on his last sortie from France with IV. / KG55 on 31 of July '42. The RK around the Neck of the dummy - is this the original one from Karbe?
The loss message...:
31.07.1942: crashed in Coombe Valley, NW of Preston, Dorset. He111 H-6 Stab IV./KG 55 G1+GV Wk. Nr. 7526 (Pilot) Ofw. Richard Bock PoW; Hpt. Karbe KIA; Ofw. Wilhelm Becker PoW; Fw. Hans Delatron KIA; Ogfr. Erhard Schäfer KIA; shot down by Beaufighter No. 604 Squadron.
