you know what is sad i used to go to France twice a year and always went pay my respect to the Canadian at the cemetery and decided to go at Le Cambre (twice) to see the German cemetery there and at that time didn't know nothing about M.Wittman ( yes i can hear people whatttt she didnt know

) now i know and i can't go back (for a while at least) what a waisted of time i had going there and not seeing that .... thanks for the pics Jean

Walkwolf really nice stuff you did and for less money and that is the result that counts . You gave me an idea for doing something like that for a friends father tribute.

ive tried many times to make this kind of display in a frame ,with issue document behind it etc ,but every pic of the relevent docs are posted with a water mark ,and as such are no good for this kind of display ,i dont blame the guys for puting water ,marks cos it stops fakes but it does not help for those of us who want to do a one off display , a nice frame with a 2nd class iron cross with an issue doc would be wonderfull in my bar , cheers ian

Here`s some pics of Reimers,his driver,and Hirschel,the radio operater,all 5 crew members are buried in the same grave.

Thanks for the replies, and the photos !

The candy tray (Fererro Roche !) even has a lid to keep the dust out !
I put it on a hinged "L" shaped plate holder and it sits on top
of a bookshelf.......
