Modest Mutterkreuz collection.

I thought I would share my collection of Mutterkreuz.
Always a work in progress as I hunt down the variants missing and look for more photos, accoutrements etc etc....... but what I have been fortunate to collect I'm pleased with and I'll post updates as and when they come.......

Thanks to all for your comments, they're much appreciated.
Unfortunately I don't have a first pattern Mutterkreuz, I only remember ever seeing one for sale and it was hugely expensive.
I'm hopefully going to add another cross to the collection which is possibly a 'middle' version, between the first and second pattern inscription. This full size version has nothing on the back at all. I'll post it in the Orders and Decorations forum if I manage to obtain it.

is extremely rare to find one for sale , i see only two,( first pattern) for sale in my life

A dealer in the UK is selling a first pattern one. Except I am not paying 1500 pounds for it. The first pattern crosses were never officially issued. But if you do manage to get one in your collection you will have an item that not everyone will have

I love the 'modest' collection. The award documents and photos are a great touch. You set the bar high, indeed.

Thank you for your comments, I've only added a couple more variants since I posted this thread but will update it when I can. So much to collect, so little time!
