Here is another item from my collection.
A small stand up cardboard calendar in the form of an ATS girl from 1945. It has a nice message on the back. A true sweetheart item if ever there was one!
Cheers, Lez.

Handmade copper plaque featuring the ATS cap badge design, about 7 inch tall.
Cheers, Lez.
Here is a handmade dedication scroll presented to an ATS Sgt by her comrades when she left the Army. It is finely drawn.
I like this as I served at Donnington when I was in the WRAC.
"Presented to Staff Sgt Francis Edwards on the occasion of her departure from Donnington on May 1st after giving the Depot most valued and devoted service"

Sweetheart ATS hankies.
One hand embroidered, the other two are screen printed.
You have a marvelous collection Lez. Particularly like the sweetheart's brooches.

Thanks Tom!
The badges are very attractive little items. I like all the different designs which can be found.
Even in wartime the amount of different things that could be bought was amazing.
There is more to come.
Cheers, Lez.
You're right Lez. I also collect sweetheart brooches, but do not restrict myself to any particular service.
Look forward to seeing more.

Here we have some ATS embroideries. These were popular items to make as a pass times with all branches of the Armed Forces. They were made in table mats, cushion covers, as well as wall decorations.
I have several of these.
Cheers, Lez.
This is the pattern they used, bought as a commercial item. "Needlecraft for HM Forces by Penelope" The actual paper pattern itself has of course been used. This is the cover and instructions.
ATS private purchase Sterling Silver ring with dark blue enamel inlay.
This ring could also be bought in light blue, red or green enamel versions. Dark blue is the most common version to find, followed by the light blue.
Cheers, Lez.
