    Hello all

After posting some of my other items yesterday I thought I would post a photo of my ever growing bayonet collection in rough order of date of manufacture. I've been collecting bayonets on and off for about 10 years and probably had twice this many. I sold a lot of poorer examples off in the last year to purchase some of the better ones shown here. Let me know if you want any close ups of a particular one. Any comments welcome.

A very nice collection, quality and quantity! You've got some real beauties there, especially the SA80 and the Australian m7&9. I'm normally an "old" bayonet guy, but I would own those as well! Those and the mk7 Land pattern! Thanks for sharing.

I still have to like the big old 1907's. Huge heavy serious hunks of steel that were absolutely Not ornamental. The thought of getting one of these things rammed into a persons guts or chest makes your hair raise. A nice looking group and an infinite number to keep on adding to it! If a person wanted to specialize in bayo's, the collection could some day be enormous!

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

Jim - The Australian M7 and M9 are recent additions. They were on the expensive side but they are hard to get a hold of and I'm very happy with them. The SA80 and No. 7 Mk. I L were both bargain pick ups which I stumbled across while looking for other items. They are both on the harder side to pick up (in Australia anyways) and aren't in the condition that I would like but for the price I couldn't refuse. I do like the older bayonets as well but I never seem to come across them for the right price.

William - I also love the P1907s and will probably end up adding more to the collection soon. They are one of the cheapest and most plentiful variety in Australia.
