Finished fitting the backing MDF in the long narrow display and finished it off with gap filler.this narrow display section would ideally suit a relic panzerfaust tube which would fit in really well with the whole Berlin display. I'd really like one from Berlin but I'm probably going to be lucky to find one so I'll probably have to make do with one from somewhere else, they seem to come up quite regularly. I'd better look into the legalities of bringing one into Australia first though!
This section of the display is very close to being finished now, it's really a matter of fitting the lighting, then it's ready for the display items and the Perspex windows along with the appropriate explanation plaques.
Can't wait to see it finished!

Thanks Larry, I'm off on a fishing trip in about four weeks so I'm hoping to have it all finished by then but I've got other projects on the go as well, like finishing off the landie.This has been a great thread of education and suspense..Im looking forward also to the end result.

thanks dave ,it didnt want to detract to much on your thread with my display but just wanted to give you an idea of the versitility of plexi another bonus is you can drill through for fixing purposes ,that one solitary stahlhelm has given us all a small idea of great things to come ,you cant beat plain white backgrounds ,i attempted the same thing and the helmets on show really stood out ,what work have you got to do on the landie ,ive seen pictures of her and she looks superb ,are you pimping your ride a little more ,keep up the great work mate
