What does RA-P mean?
It looks really good mate.
Does anyone know what RA-P mean, on the stock?
great colection
Thank you
The proof "P" is common on stocks and it just stands for proof. But I tried to do a little research for RA. Off the top of my head I would have guessed the "RA" was Remington Arms but I couldn't find if they ever produced stocks for the Thompson. Of course we all know that Auto-Ordnance made the M1928A1 but Savage and BSA also made Thompsons. I didn't find anything about Remington making stocks for Auto Ord. But finally I discovered that RA-P meant that it was reworked at Raritan Arsenal in New York. They are known for doing a lot of the work on the M1 Carbine paratrooper folder stocks. Cool marking and great stock! Hope this helps!
Cool collection Sebastian...Keep showing the goodies...
