Norsk have you had a discussion regarding authenticity of that M43 cap edelweiss?
I recently purchased a few stuff from a collector and he gave me for free one identical like the one you posted but he said that it was a repro.

I found that the edelweiss badge was a type used after 1945 (Bundeswehr). Have removed it from the collection already.
