Just a suggestion Robbie, I purchase black felt or wool to put in the case behind my objects. Not all, but some. It really does make them stand out better.

For only two months collecting you have some impressive kit there Robbie.
Would love to see what you have in five years time if it keeps growing at it's present rate.
    Well done mate .

Fantastic stuff mate, you have much more than I had in my first two months of collecting! I really like the way you have the information explaining what each item is alongside them, very museum like. Well done mate, great stuff, Dave.

    Hi all,
This is what I have to show for my first two months of collecting! It's not that much but I'm pleased with how it looks for now. Hopefully the new year will bring lots of new items for display!

Thanks again everyone I'll take on board any suggestions - I'd love tips from all the hardened collectors on here on how to make it better! Actually, I have about £200 from Christmas - any ideas what I should purchase next?

New update (I've been slacking enormously, many apologies) - the Waffenrock is for sale so the collection does at first appear significantly smaller/I had to relocate it in my room, but here's the display today. New items include; armband, boots, two helmet shells, photographs, some form of ammunition shell which I can't identify and the cabinet itself I'm also expecting a 36th SS division collar tab but my American friend is taking her sweet time in sending it to me...
