An excellent display, but I would caution about hanging the banner when it has torn damage. The weight of the hanging cloth on these pieces can actually make the damage worse eventually. It may be better to fold up and shelf it, in the effort to avoid hurting it further.

Very intensive two months! Now, at this time you should have a real museum! Congrats and thanks for sharing

Hi all! Just updating the thread as to the new additions to my collection. They are: a M40 SD SS helmet from a Das Reich soldier (his totenkopf ring and dog tag were also found but had to be handed in) which came with a free political leader (I think) button, an SS/SA dagger eagle and a dug-up toothbrush. Additionally, I bought two fragments of SS camo cover, lots of SS photographs, and unfortunately I had to sell my Heer - but as part of the sale I got two WWI helmets for my display. What do you all think?
Now I'm just looking for a cheap bayonet or dagger to display on the top shelf...

Absolutely fantastic! Very nicely presented and displayed. I too, like that leather coat. Is the Tie original?
Cheers, Patrick
very very nice
Thanks guys! And Patrick, sadly no, I couldn't find an original tie for sale; and as I made the decision recently that I just don't have the space for uniforms at the moment (my rule tends to be that if you can't display it, there's little point in having it), I'm restricting myself to one mannequin display, so I've just shoved all of my insignia onto it

Amazing collection! keep up the good work!
I must say. The way you display the pieces is amazing. Great work and great items!
