...hard to make a nice picture !!
I up loaded 10 pictures and got a ???"safety token missing message"???
Tried again with 2 pictures , thise seems to work!
And an other thing , when I try to download photo shopped (with Photo Plus) pictures , it doesn't work ..??
Back to the marks:
the first picture is a RS&S (quiet a lot of them) they also come in different letter types!
but the second picture shows ;
-in the front a B and G woven into each other
-at the back a G K & L in gothique
Not showed on the pictures are a RODO, a Dr.F.&Co.,an L in a circle,a N&H,an ST&L and a JFS
Stuka f,very nice collection&resto..did you say they were all found at one time?,my hands would be shaking if so.
hey Nick ,
If you mean by etching ,engraving the metal ...then , no!
I do put layers and layers of epoxy , mould it until the result is OK.
When restauring, what ever item, you must always make more epoxy than you need , so thise is a way to use the left overs, that are coming very expensive these days.
Hi Stuka f
Is their a way to recognize pieces that were treated with epoxy? I'am a little concerned that these will hit the collectors market as originals...

Wow, good mixture of makers
Richard Seiper and Sohne, quite a prolific buckle maker and very common
Gebr Kugel & Fink Ludenscheid
Robert Dold Offenberg
Dr Franke & Co Ludenscheid
Noelle & Hueck
Steinhauer and Luck
Josef Feix Sohne and the L in a circle are you sure it is an L and not an F?
Thanks
Ben
