Here are some better shots of the display cases:
In this shot we have my WWII Soviet, German U.S. Air Corp collections. We also have the World War I medals that belonged to my great grandfather.
In this shot are display cases honoring the U.S. Marine Corp as well as the American units that took part in the initial wave of the invasion of Normandy. Below the cases on the wall are my British/ Commonwealth medal collection (Thanks, Andy!) as well as my Canadian helmet with 3 color net and bandage.
Great display!
Thanks, Josh! I wish I had more room... but there's only so much I can squeeze into a college dorm room!
The display looks fantastic!! I think you have done a great job with the limited room you have to work with there is a lot of stuff going on but It doesn't look cluttered ...
Great work mate, Looking forward to seeing the USMC set up when it is finished off
Luke
Are those riker display cases that you are using?
Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately, the additions to the USMC setup will be hooked onto the side and rear of the belt... It wont be visible unless you turn it around... BUT knowing it's complete is satisfying to me!
They're similar... but they're actually wood framed display cases from a chain of hobby stores called: "Hobby Lobby". The glass of the display is on a hinge and when latched shut, the pressure holds the contents of the display in place.
Ok, I'll have to keep an eye out for them, they display very nicely. Terrific display!
Looks good Joe The display is also quite good.
Cheers
