Added USMC suspenders and a dog ear canteen to my USMC display. A jungle firstaid pouch complete with contents is on it's way, too!

I rolled the sleeves, and left a lot of the buttons on the HBT undone... wanted to make it look like the marine was on a hot Pacific island. I cut a piece of repro USMC camo fabric to cover the pillow I'm using to give the display some form.

The jungle first aid kit arrived!

The jungle first aid kit includes a carslile bandage in cardboard box, a tin of sun block cream, a roll of gauze, an iodine stick and some burn cream.

The traditional Carlisle bandage pouch mounts onto the bottom of the jungle pouch... pretty cool!

I am thinking I may go three routes...

    1. Less is more. The display is done.

    2. Add another M1 carbine magazine pouch to the front of the belt to even things out.

    3. Instead of an M1 carbine pouch, I'll add a m1911 pistol mag pouch and M1911 leather holster.

    What do you folks think?

Very Nice, you know in France, it's not possible. I Think parents don't like military items in a college. Lucky man!

I should have made myself more clear... I am in a private apartment, but a dormitory.

I think that option 3. would make it look stunning- I'm going to have to do a "like" display- all my uniform bits are in storage sadly

Like the old WWI metal cap canteen- I think those are my favorite.
