Its a set of ankle rings from Zimbabwe, the reings are partly hollow with small round metal balls so that make a razzling sound when shaken. The rings are all different (age?) and tied together with some very interesting knots. The age is very difficult to assess but at least 150-200 years according to one expert. Bought a pair of them on a flea market in Nice in the seventies. Just thought they were beautiful with alot of chraacter and wear and stil do
