Do you guys know anything about the patch because im still very rusty on patch knowledge and was wondering if it was ww2. And if it is he won the medal during ww2. I have ww2 dated string could i have a seemstress sew it on the ike jacket?

Hi Ryan, the Meritorious Unit Citation is WW2.

You are getting there with the Doughboy pack, just needs to be done up tighter and one of the lower straps needs to pass around the shovel handle to keep it in place from flapping around when worn.

Yeah and I'm almost done I either want the m41 field jacket or the m43 its hard to decide.

Go with the M41 jacket if you can, as it will display better with your earlier webbing gear.
