Over the past year or so, I've slowly put together this modest display case. The display case was purchased at "Hobby Lobby" for around $15 and the feldgrau backing is actually a swatch of wool that At The Front uses for their uniforms.

Questions, comments, concerns, and constructive criticism would be much appreciated!

The crosses will then be together at the top and the two Campaign
Medals - which are round - will be towards the outsides.
You can leave the KVK button ribbon where it is.

What's nice about this kind of display case is that you can
switch stuff around whenever you need to.........!

    Steve.

It has been done! To be honest, I kept the EK2 and Ost medal together because of the ribbon bar.

    Much more feng shuiy now...

I've decided to take the ribbons out in order to make up a little more space.

Can anyone recommend any pieces that are glaring absences from this display?

I'd like to add a close combat clasp... but dang... so expensive.

I have to say, I quite love the idea of using a fieldgrau cloth background. Great idea, hope you don't mind if I steal it :/

    Hey Joe, ( wasn't that a Hendrix tune? )
How about a Silver wound badge or an Eastern peoples medal to balance out the Italian Africa one?

Looking good Joe ! - I too like your idea of using that background as well.

There are some - West Wall, Austrian and Czechoslovakian Occupation,
but other than a couple of party pins or cap badges, you are not
going to get much else in there without more shuffling.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.
